Wow!  Where has this school year gone?  It seems to have FLOWN by!

Thank you for helping us get your children to Science Camp.  It was a great learning opportunity and team building for all of us.  The food was good, the weather was perfect, the leaders amazing, chaperones were great, and the classes were fun.  An overall GREAT experience!

Yearbook signing on Thursday which is a half-day.

End of the year Breakfast is Thursday as well.  I am making pancake batter.  I'm in need of parent volunteers to help cook, serve, and clean up.  If you are available we will put you to work.  Thank you for making this happen.  We serve 6th graders first and say good bye.  We serve 5th graders second and say HELLO and WELCOME new 6th graders.

We will continue to stay busy this week working and learning.  Report cards will come home this week, so watch for them.

Don't forget to pick up any meds you may have sent up to science camp.  You will also need to make arrangements with Miss G regarding any medications she has for your child in the health office.

I hope you have a wonderful summer!  Spend time with your kids!  Enjoy the summer.  Play.  Bring back the games and fun you had as a child and share them with your child!  Experience new things.  Try new foods.  Take a day trip.  Build a fort.  Visit the library.  Donate your time to a charity.  Clean out your closets and dressers and donate your clothes you no longer wear.  Write a letter.  Cook together.  Challenge your child to read and practice math.  Watch a movie together.  Go outside at night and look at the stars.  We live on this amazing planet!

A million thank you-s for all of your support, donations, emails, cards, and gifts.  You all have been so kind and generous.  I'm grateful and honored to be a part of your lives.  I will miss you 6th grade students and families.  I wish you the best in your academic journey and personal lives.  You are capable of anything you put your mind to do.  Work hard.  Be your best.  Be Kind.  Be Smart.

Welcome back 6th graders.  Let's make this the BEST BIGGS year yet!  We have so many things to learn and experience.  I'm excited to begin another school year.  Remember to be kind to our incoming 5th graders.  Work hard.  Be your best.  Be Kind.  Be Smart.

Have a wonderful summer break!  Enjoy every single minute!

Yours in Science,
Mrs. Biggs
