Hello Amazing Science Families!
It was a pleasure to see all of you who were able to make it to our ILP's on Wednesday and Thursday. What were your thoughts on how we conducted ILP's this time? Thank you for touching base regarding Science Camp.
Science Camp will be held May 15 - 17, 2017. The camp is in Prescott. We are taking the tour busses up to camp. Our mandatory meeting will be on May 3, 2017 at 7:00 pm. The chaperone meeting will be immediately following our parent meeting. I will be in contact with all adults that have signed up to chaperone in February. Please, please, please get in and apply for your fingerprint clearance card immediately. You will not be able to attend camp unless you have received your copy of your card. No exceptions.
If you did not attend ILP's your child will be bringing home permission slips for ASU Prep and Aspen Creek Science Camp. Both of these forms need to be returned immediately.
Please check the amount that you have paid and compare this to the amount that I have written on your confirmation form. We both need to be on the same page in regards to how much you think you have paid and how much we have received. We also need to make sure that there have been no errors in our accounting. If you think there has been an error in accounting PLEASE contact Mrs. Biggs ASAP.
Monday, January 30, 2017 is the day Sparky Ambassadors and NJHS will be volunteering at Feed My Starving Children. All students and families need to be at the facility by 3:15 pm. The event will last for 2 hours. Thank you for your willingness to volunteer. We will be taking our Penny War and Kindness gram money that students raised.
Congratulations to students for completing their States of Matter Quiz. These are coming home this week.! This week we will be finishing up states of matter with solutions. We will take a quick look into the Periodic Table before moving onto Human Body.
A BIGGS thank you for providing lunch for all of the teachers, attending ILP conferences, and for raising amazing young people!
yours in science,
Mrs. Biggs
